DRAGONGATE NEWS

 

~ Dragon Dia announced his departure from the promotion on social media on March 31st. Though DG in turn announced that this was an abrupt announcement and they had to release a PR statement of their own. DG did state that Dia's agent tried to get him released from his contract at the end of February but DG did not accept the departure at the time. Dia has not compete in DG at all in the month of March though he was present through the end of February.
~ Dia stated that there is nothing wrong with him mentally or physically though this is a decision that he has made on his own with leaving the promotion. 

~ The full event card was announced for the April 6th show at the Korakuen Hall.

~ The United Japan Pro-Wrestling alliance announced that there will be a show held on May 12th that the Shinjuku FACE. Eight promotions will be competing on the show. No names in particular were announced to compete at this time but a special focused match will be held for the new generation of up-coming wrestlers is planned.
