~ New Japan announced that they have signed Tokyo Olympics judo 100kg gold medalist Aaron Wolf, he is of American and Japanese descent, but raised in Japan. The 29 year old is a 2021 Olympic gold medalist retired from active judo this month and soon after announced his decision to join New Japan. His debut is slated for the January 4th show at the Tokyo Dome.

~ El Phantasmo was announced to miss today's show due to a right knee injury. The 4th match will be changed.
