STARDOM NEWS

~ Mayu Iwatani announced that she will be leaving STARDOM as today May 28th. This comes after her loss of the IWGP Joshi belt to Syuri at yesterday's big show in Yokohama. Iwatani has been active in STARDOM since her debut in 2011. She stated that her time as an icon of STARDOM is now over but she will now become an icon for women's pro-wrestling as a whole.

~ Maika will be taking an extended break from competing as she will be undergoing surgery on her right elbow. She will compete on the May 6th show in Fukuoka which will be her last for time being.

~ Sayaka Kurara will challenge for the World Championship on May 11th at the Korakuen Hall. Saya Kamitani defeated Tam Nakano, forcing her to retire in the process, which Kurara has vowed to create a new future for STARDOM it the wake of Nakano's retirement.
