~ It was announced Joe Doering's will be unable to compete at the Budokan show due to a brain tumor being once more found, this being something he dealt with back in 2016, and he will begin undergoing treatment to determine if it s malignant or cancerous. 

Jake Lee, who was to be Doering's opponent on the show, wished Doering all the best and hopes he can once more return to the ring. Though now he is left without an opponent, in which he has nominated Naoya Nomura. Whom he was originally scheduled to face in the semi-finals of the "Oudou Tournament" before Naoya was forced to sit out because of a positive corona result.
