~ 8 teams were announced to competing in a round-robin, 2 block style tournament to crown the new AAAW Tag Champions, which Chigusa Nagayo has acquired to be used in her promotion. The belt will remain under it's same lineage as when it was created for GAEA JAPAN in 1996.
~ The tournament is set to begin on February 24th with the final to be held on May 1st at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
